I bribed the boys with donuts on our way to Omaha this morning. After we got them, Spencer says, "Beckett! We get to eat breakfast in the car!! Even though donuts aren't a real breakfast. They aren't even on the healthy pyramid at all!"

Beckett: Can we go to the Children's Museum tomorrow?
Me: No, not tomorrow. We are going to see Santa tomorrow!
Beckett: You mean, we're going to the NORTH POLE?!

The gift of Christmas

During the boys' Christmas program today, the leader did a children's sermon. She was talking about the real "gift" of Christmas, meaning Baby Jesus. Spencer thought she meant something else...
