I know I post stories about Spencer all.the.time, but this kid just cracks me up!
He and Beckett were supposed to be in the basement picking up toys. I went down to see how they were doing. Spencer was just sitting there watching Beckett pick up. I said, "Spencer, why aren't you picking up?!" He said, "But Mom, I'm the manager!"

A story from Spencer
I took Spencer to the dentist today. Here is one of the stories that he told me on the way there.
Beavers make trees fall down. They chew on the trees, nom, nom, nom. Then, they say "timmmmmmmberrrrrrr" and the tree falls down. But, they can't say timber like people say timber, so they really just say "grrrrr", and that means timber in beaver words.

Beckett woke up early this morning, crying. I went up to his room to figure out what was wrong. He’s been sick and has a cough, so I figured he just felt like crap. I picked him up and asked him why he was crying. He said, “Mommy… *sniff* …I want.. *sniff, sniff* ..to go… *sniff* …to PIZZA HUT!” I said, “You’re crying because you want to go to Pizza Hut?!” He said, “Yeah… I REALLY want to go.” LOL!

Babies
As we were watching the Super Bowl tonight, an E-Trade commercial came on. Spencer watched it and started laughing hysterically. "Hahahahaha! I just saw BABIES talking with GROWN-UP WORDS! Hahahahaha!"
Look at your face!
Today Beckett was trying to convince me that he didn't need to take a nap, even though he was falling asleep in my lap at church this morning. He was being crabby and fussing, so I said, "Beckett! Look at your face. That's your crabby face. You need to take a nap so that you can get your crabbies out!" He wailed, "MOMMMMMMY! But, I can't SEE my face!!"

Smart Head
Tonight, Spencer told me that when he was born, I should have named him "Smart Head" because he is so smart. A few minutes later, he said that "Simon" would have also been a good name because Simon the Chipmunk is smart, too.

Keeping 'em dry!
This is an oldie but goodie...
A while back, Beckett was wearing big boy undies that had boats on them. I told him that he needed to keep his boats dry! Spencer, who was wearing baseball undies, said, "Yes, Beckett, you do! And, I'm going to keep MY BALLS dry!!"
LOL!!
